Rúben Germano

Rúben Germano is currently the General Manager of Revolut in Portugal. Previously, he held senior positions at Oney Bank (part of the BPCE group), Accenture Strategy, and Roland Berger, where he developed expertise in M&A, strategic planning, credit risk portfolios, product innovation, and market expansion. Some interesting projects include stress-testing credit portfolios in Spain’s banking system alongside the IMF and the Bank of Spain, launching Portugal’s first “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) solution, and creating a banking innovation program to collaborate with startups and universities. Rúben holds a degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, a Master’s in Business Administration from Católica-Lisbon, and has completed executive education at INSEAD. He is passionate about travel, having visited over 70 countries, as well as technology, cinema, and board games.
