Paulo Fernandes

Paulo Fernandes has a degree in International Relations from the Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the Technical University of Lisbon. Paulo Fernandes is currently Mayor of Fundão, where he previously held the position of Vice-President and City Councillor for several areas such as sports, culture, and social action. He is also Founder and President of the Schist Villages Network and Founder of the Historic Villages Network of Portugal, among other organizations related to regional development. Speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on networks and territorial marketing, mobility and transport for low-density regions, innovation, internationalization, and sustainable development.
