José Miguel Pessanha

 José Miguel Pessanha is executive board member and CRO at Millenniumbcp since 2015 being responsible for the Group Risk office, Compliance office, rating division, the office for the Regulatory and Supervision Monitoring and the Data Protection Office, among other positions held outside the Group. 

José Miguel holds a Degree in Economics at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Masters Degree in Economics at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) and Masters Degree in Operation Investigation (academic portion) at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon) 

He was Professor in Statistics and Econometrics at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and has then joined Banco Português do Atlântico where he was responsible for the risk control, ALM, financial markets research and capital markets areas of the financial division. 

At Banco Comercial Português, since 1995, he was Risk Officer since 2003.
