João Pedro Oliveira e Costa

João Pedro Oliveira e Costa, 56 years old, is CEO of Banco BPI and Executive Member of the Board of Directors. Prior to being appointed CEO in November 2020, João Pedro Oliveira e Costa served as BPI’s Head of Retail and Business Banking and Member of the Board of Directors. With 30 years’ experience at Group BPI, now part of Group CaixaBank, was Head of Private Banking and later of the bank’s Investment Centres, posts held until 2014. He has been a Non-executive Member of the Board of Directors of the insurance company Allianz Portugal and the asset management company BPI (Suisse), until December 2020. Started his career in the asset management division of BCP. Holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
