Caroline Klein is Economist at the OECD since 2010. She serves as Head of the Portugal/Romania desk at the Economics Department in charge of producing OECD Economic Surveys and country analyses in flagship publications, such as the Economic Outlook and Going for Growth.
Prior to joining the OECD, she started her career in the Treasury Department of the French Ministry of Finance, where she worked on the evaluation of economic policies (tax, migration, and competition policies among others).
Her main fields of expertise are macroeconomics, public finance and labour economics.
She graduated from the ENSAE (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique) and holds a Master’s degree from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
