António Cunha

President of the Norte of Portugal Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-NORTE)

António M. Cunha is the first elected President of the Norte of Portugal Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-NORTE).
While being the Rector of University of Minho (2009-2017), he was the President of the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (2014-2017) and Board Member of Iberian Nanotechnology Institute (2012-2020), MIT-Portugal Program (2013-2020) and Bosch-UMinho Partnership (2013-2020). Later, he was Board Member of the Minho Advanced Computing Centre (2017-2020) and of the High Level Scientific Committee of the Atlantic International Satellite Launch Programme (2019). As well he is the Co-founder and Executive Board Member of the Centre for Innovation in Polymer Engineering – PIEP (2001-2009) and the Centre for Engineering and Product Development – CEIIA (2005-09 and 2018-20).
