
Luísa Magalhães
Luísa Magalhães holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the School of Biotechnology at the Portuguese Catholic University, obtained in 2002. Simultaneously, she earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Diagnostics from Cranfield University, United Kingdom. In September 2002, she joined Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, SA, where she worked as a Consultant on national and international projects. In March 2004, she was appointed Advisor to the Office of the City Councilor responsible for Urban Hygiene and Solid Waste Management at the Lisbon City Council. In October 2005, she began collaborating with Lisboa E-Nova – Lisbon’s Municipal Energy and Environment Agency, where she worked in communication and project management. Since September 2016, she has served as the Executive Director of the Smart Waste Portugal Association.
