João Fonseca Santos joined the European Investment Bank in 2014, starting in the monitoring and restructuring department. By 2017, he transitioned to structuring operations in Portugal, and in 2021, he became an advisor to Former EIB Vice-President Ricardo Mourinho Félix, focusing on institutional, strategic, governance, and operational matters and supporting in areas including the Blue Economy, Funding and Treasury, Multiannual Financial Framework, and institutional relations in Portugal, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. In September 2023, he assumed the role of Head of EIB Group Office in Portugal. Before his time at EIB, he worked in Private Equity and Corporate Finance in Portugal where he began his career in 2008. He holds a Master's in Finance and a Management degree from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

Sérgio Ribeiro is Executive Director and CEO of Global Automotive Distribution at the Salvador Caetano Group. Since 2014, he has led the automotive distribution of the Salvador Caetano Group, which is currently present on 3 continents and 44 countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America, driving the transformation, management and expansion of numerous automotive brands in different geographies, with a strong focus on the energy transition and technological innovation in the sector. With a degree in Economics from FEP - Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the Catholic University of Portugal, he began his career in 1995 at Deloitte, in the Auditing area. Two years later, his passion for the automotive sector led him to start working at Toyota Caetano Portugal, where he performed several functions, coordinating several business areas. In 2004 he was appointed Executive Director of Caetano Retail, the Group's automotive retail arm, a position he held on an executive basis until 2017, currently remaining as a non-executive. As Executive Director of Salvador Caetano Auto, SGPS leads the strategy and total management of operations in Portugal for brands such as Hyundai, Nissan, BYD, Xpeng, Honda and Dongfeng, as well as numerous other brands in different geographies, where he holds management positions in numerous countries, notably Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, South Africa, Colombia, Tunisia, Kenya, Angola, Senegal, Mozambique and Cape Verde.

Born on September 20, 1972, he holds a PhD in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a degree in Economics from FEP - Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto. He has been Head of the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal since 2018. He has been a member of the Eurosystem's Monetary Policy Committee since 2006. His research interests are in monetary policy, inequality and poverty. He has been a lecturer in Macroeconomic Policies at Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics since 2015.
Luísa Magalhães holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the School of Biotechnology at the Portuguese Catholic University, obtained in 2002. Simultaneously, she earned a Master's degree in Environmental Diagnostics from Cranfield University, United Kingdom. In September 2002, she joined Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, SA, where she worked as a Consultant on national and international projects. In March 2004, she was appointed Advisor to the Office of the City Councilor responsible for Urban Hygiene and Solid Waste Management at the Lisbon City Council. In October 2005, she began collaborating with Lisboa E-Nova – Lisbon’s Municipal Energy and Environment Agency, where she worked in communication and project management. Since September 2016, she has served as the Executive Director of the Smart Waste Portugal Association.
Rushank Bardolia is an economist and former financial services expert who transitioned from the Luxembourg fund industry to sustainable agriculture. After 15 years in banking and compliance, he founded GreenEarth Agro, a social enterprise based in Ghana, focused on regenerative farming and sustainable agribusiness. His work integrates impact finance, carbon sequestration, and agro-processing to create resilient agricultural supply chains while ensuring economic development for smallholder farmers. Rushank is also exploring innovative financing models, such as RWA tokenization, to bridge the funding gap for climate-smart agriculture. He has participated in global forums, including COP and the World Economic Forum, advocating for sustainable investment in agriculture
Executive with over twenty years of professional experience in the financial sector and investment banking, being a specialist in the origination, financing, investment and portfolio management with exposure to structured credit. He was Chief Credit Officer at Dominion Group in London, having under his responsibility the funds´ debt management, and the launching of a structured credit fund. Formerly he was Executive Director of ABN AMRO, being the European Head of Conduit Securitization, where he structures and managed credit portfolios of approximately USD 35 MM. He was also Adviser to the Ministry of Economy for the Internationalization of the Portuguese Economy. He has a Degree in Economics from School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto and holds an MBA from the State University of West Georgia, U.S.
Isabel Apolinário brings over two decades of experience in energy regulation to her role as a Member of the Board at the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE). With a strong background in economics and a deep understanding of energy policy, Isabel has played a role in shaping regulatory frameworks and driving innovation in the energy sector. Isabel's journey in energy regulation began at ERSE, where she started as an officer in the Pricing and Tariffs Division in 1998. Over the years, she progressed through various roles within ERSE, including Senior Advisor and Director of the Pricing, Tariffs, and Energy Efficiency Division. In addition to her contributions at ERSE, Isabel has also gained valuable experience on energy policy and economic regulation as a member of CEER (Council of European Energy Regulators), ACER (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators) and MEDREG (Mediterranean Energy Regulators) Gas Working Groups. Isabel graduated in economics (1996) and holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Energy and Environment Policy (2005), both from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG), Technical University of Lisbon.
