Rina Guerra, CFA, was born in Porto and holds a 5 years degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia do Porto. She completed the CFA program in 2017 and more recently, earned the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute. Rina has 20 years of experience in asset management and investment banking, having started her career as an analyst in the Private Equity department of Banco BPI, in 2001. Between 2005 and 2008, she worked as Portfolio Manager in Mr. Américo Amorim’s family office. After that, Rina joined Banco BIG to develop commercial relationships with companies and institutions. From 2014 until 2019, Rina developed her professional career abroad in the Parisian asset management industry. She held roles as Buyside Analyst and Lead Portfolio Manager at European equities funds, managing more than 100M€, while enlarging her stock picking expertise. Since September 2019, Rina is responsible for the equity portfolios of Banco Carregosa. She manages two main strategies, one more focused in European equities and the other more focused on global names. Since July 2022, Rina is part of the Board of CFA Society Portugal.
