Ole Lund Hansen is part of the UN Global Compact’s Executive Management team. As Chief of Global Operations he leads strategy, development and support for the 70+ Global Compact Country Networks and the 5 Regional Hubs. In addition, he oversees the delivery of the UN Global Compact Academy, the Business Accelerators and other programmes delivered for UN Global Compact businesses around the world. Ole joined the UN Global Compact in 2009 and has previously been leading the work of the UN Global Compact on the Sustainable Development Goals, Breakthrough Innovation, Board Programme, Responsible Investment and Global Compact LEAD Before joining the United Nations, Ole was an International Business Development consultant, while also acting as the focal point for the Nordic Global Compact Network and the Base of the Pyramid (BOP) Learning Lab. Earlier, Ole has worked as a Senior Advisor on international trade policy, as a Political Risk Advisor and as a consultant on private sector engagement for environmental projects in Latin America.
